1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is: Oleksii Tereshchenko Schöppenberg 7 42349 Wuppertal Germany Phone: +49 176 20915939 Email: hello@tereschenko.pro
2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract / pre-contractual steps), (f) GDPR (legitimate interest) and — where consent is obtained — (a) GDPR.
3. Hosting and processors
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). Content is served from the EU data region (Frankfurt, fra1). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Vercel; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply to transfers to the USA. To measure loading performance we use Vercel Speed Insights — cookieless and without storing personal data; only anonymous, aggregated performance metrics (e.g. Core Web Vitals) are collected. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We use the following processors to store the website content:
- Neon Inc. — database (PostgreSQL), data center in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — storage and delivery of media files (Cloudflare R2), EU region. Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all of the above; where third-country transfers occur, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses are used. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Server log files
When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits (server log files): browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to ensure trouble-free operation and the security of the website. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of collection.
5. Cookies and consent
Technically necessary cookies or local storage techniques required to operate the website (e.g. storing your selected language and your cookie choice) are used on the basis of § 25(2) TDDDG without consent. Consent-requiring services (see section 6) are loaded only after you have actively agreed via our cookie banner (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Before consent, these scripts are not loaded. Your choice is stored locally in your browser; you can change or withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
6. Web analytics (only with consent)
Only after your explicit consent do we use the following services:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland; Google LLC, USA) — statistical analysis of usage. We use IP anonymisation and Google Consent Mode v2 (advertising signals disabled). The EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply to transfers to the USA. Google may set cookies for this.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, USA) — analysis of usage behaviour (e.g. aggregated session analysis, heatmaps). Microsoft may set cookies; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply to any third-country transfer. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. In addition, a cookieless, privacy-friendly reach measurement (Plausible) without storing personal data may be used.
7. Fonts
Fonts and icons are served locally from our own server (self-hosting). No connection is established to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.
8. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, your details will be stored in order to process the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the inquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in processing the inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
9. Your rights
Within the limits of the law, you have the right to: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is: State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW) Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany https://www.ldi.nrw.de
